My first blog posting to the site. *as i sit contemplating my next sentence.. and thinking about spell check..* I suppose first a little history of the planetraver project. I started planetraver back in 1998, when the Detroit electronic scene was most likely at on near it’s peak / end; maybe I shouldn’t say end because there are sporadic parties from time to time but nothing like spastik at the packard, or parties in the chop shop, mack and bagley, the theater, and the house.. oh the house after hours, what fun times. Any ways back to the point, I started planetraver after attending a couple parties and seeing a need for an online location to find out about parties, see some pictures, and unite the scene, beknownsed to me at the time there were already several sources for this, some simple sources for audio like paxahau (now MUCH MUCH more), a growing message forum called detroit luv, a yahoo group called pku (then moved to 313kids and wab aka we are bored); in any event I built a site called planetraver.com.
